Environmental education · Community leadership

Environmental learning that starts with community.

Eco-Connect works with BIPOC communities in Etobicoke North to make environmental information accessible, relevant and useful in everyday life. The project is shaped around community needs, local knowledge and shared action.

Build knowledge. Grow local leadership. Take action together.

01

Listen and learn

A community needs assessment helps identify local concerns, knowledge gaps and preferred ways to share information.

02

Share practical resources

Multilingual learning materials, community stories and workshops explore harmful substances in consumer products and safer, eco-friendly alternatives.

03

Support local leaders

Eco-Connect Ambassadors help sustain learning and strengthen community leadership from within the neighbourhood.

04

Make change visible

Clean-ups, eco-fairs and product swaps turn shared learning into practical environmental stewardship.
